The production plant is located at the entrance to Langhirano, near the Torrechiara Castle, in the heart of the typical Parma ham area. Since its foundation Dolcevalle Prosciutti has been associated with the Parma Ham Consortium.

1975

The Limonta's family founded Dolcevalle S.a.s. Prosciutti in Langhirano, in the heart of the typical Prosciutto di Parma region, where the production site is still located today. Since its establishment, it has been associated with the Prosciutto di Parma Consortium.

1976

In 1976 the strong and natural desire to join the native land of Dolcevalle hams (the hills and the breeze of Langhirano) and the native territory of the Limonta family (the green land and lakes of Brianza) contributed to the foundation of the Limonta Prosciutti company. From this story of love and culture for one’s lands and work Adelio Limonta ensured that, from 1976, Limonta Prosciutti became the exclusive distributor of “Dolcevalle” Parma Ham.
After that, the commitment and dedication to the work of the entire Limonta family leads to the consolidation of its presence on the Italian and foreign markets, guaranteeing the distribution of more and more selected and high-quality products.

1996

As the years pass, the concept of Food Quality & Safety is always more and more important with a different meaning for the companies from the 1970s.
With this target, since 1996 the company has applied a careful HACCP methodology; it fi rst made the certifi cation ISO9001 and followed by BRC and IFS, making a management system operational that respects quality, food safety and compliance with the laws that regulate the food industry.

2024

In 2024, the company carries out a great restyling project of the “DOLCEVALLE” brand with the aim of making it closer to the mission, developments and changes that the company has faced over the years. Renewing the image means being open to new things and knowing how to keep up with the times.
